Jolynn Amrine

Jolynn Amrine is a Professor of English at Lower Columbia College since January 2023, specializing in Composition, Technical Writing, and Industrial Communications across in-person, hybrid, and online formats. Amrine has extensive teaching experience, having served as a Professor of English at South Puget Sound Community College from September 2018 to December 2022, where tenure was achieved in Spring 2021. Additionally, Amrine has worked as a Contractor for the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation since May 2011 and held the position of Writing Instructor at George Fox University for the 2017-2018 academic year. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor at Centralia College and a strong academic background with multiple degrees from The University of Alabama and Queen's University Belfast, culminating in a PhD in English.
