Yannick Wombo

Yannick Wombo is an accomplished professional in media rights distribution and broadcast services, currently serving as the Broadcast Services and Partnerships Lead at the Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) since June 2025. Previously, Yannick held the position of Senior Manager for Global Media Rights Distribution at the National Basketball Association (NBA), where responsibility included collaboration with major broadcast partners in Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa, and the Middle East. Prior experience encompasses roles such as Commercial Director Video for AFP in the MEA region, Senior Marketing Manager at SES Satellites, and involvement with FIFA and CAF competitions as a Media Liaison/Teams Services Manager. Yannick began a career in media analysis as a Junior Media Analyst at Highbury Safika Media Publications, building a solid foundation in corporate governance and communication sciences from the University of Johannesburg.
