Dave MacIsaac is a seasoned forestry professional with extensive experience in both academic and practical settings. Currently, Dave serves as a Professor and Instructor at Confederation College, where responsibilities include designing and delivering an introductory course in Forest Management Planning for final-year students in the Forest Ecosystem Management Technician program. Prior to this role, Dave worked as a Planning Forester at Greenmantle Forest Inc., leading forest management planning and reporting on the Lakehead Forest from 2004 to 2018. Earlier experience includes working as a Forester at Montane Forest Consultants from 2002 to 2004, focusing on harvest block and road design in regions affected by Mountain Pine Beetle and conducting various forest health assessments. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry (HBScF) from Lakehead University and additional education from the University of New Brunswick.
