Jessica Dykes

Professor at Confederation College

The School of Health and Community Services welcomed Jessica Dykes as a faculty member in the fall of 2009. Jessica is a graduate of the Primary Care Paramedic Program from Cambrian College and a graduate of the Advanced Care Paramedic and Aeromedical programs from Sunnybrook Flight Paramedic Academy. Jessica also attended the University of Manitoba where she earned her Certificate in Quality Management.

Jessica came to the College with an extensive background in the Emergency Medical Services field having served as a Primary Care Paramedic, an Advanced Care Flight Paramedic, a Regional Instructor for the Ministry of Health (Region 6), ACP Clinical Coordinator for the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre Base Hospital Program and as the Manager of Quality Assurance, Training and Staff Development for the Northwest Emergency Medical Services where she was largely responsible for the on-going monitoring and training of paramedic qualifications in the Northwest Region. She currently remains active in the field by working part-time for Northwest EMS (Ignace) as a Primary Care Paramedic.
