Dr. Geethanjali Nataraj

Dr. Geethanjali Nataraj serves as the Principal for International Trade Policy at the Confederation of Indian Industry since February 2023 and has been an Advisor to the South Asia Democratic Forum since June 2016. Previously, Dr. Nataraj held the position of Director for Research and Policy at the Services Export Promotion Council from July 2020 to February 2023. With extensive experience at prominent think tanks, research organizations, and international agencies, Dr. Nataraj also served as a Professor of Economics at the Indian Institute of Public Administration from April 2017 to June 2020, and has held various roles including Senior Consultant Scholar at Brookings India and Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation. Academic credentials include a BA in Economics from MES College in Bengaluru, complemented by early education at institutions such as St. Joseph's Anantapur and St. Michael's Karwar.
