Debbie Draper, CCM, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in non-profits and the hospitality industry. Since February 2008, Debbie has served as a Senior Global Project Manager at ConferenceDirect, specializing in site selection, hotel sourcing, contract negotiations, and comprehensive conference management. Prior to this, Debbie held the position of Director of National Hotel Contracts & Meeting Management at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association from August 1983 to November 2007, where responsibilities included managing meeting logistics and housing for significant events. Debbie also worked as a Housing and Registration Manager for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, overseeing registration and housing for a large annual meeting. Earlier career experience included a role in Sales Support at the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau, promoting Dallas as a meeting destination. Debbie began education at Dallas College Mountain View Campus from 1972 to 1975.
