Guy Thibault

Guy Thibault is an accomplished military leader and defence strategist with extensive experience in high-level positions within Canadian defence organizations and international advisory roles. Currently serving as President of the Conference of Defence Associations Institute and Chair of the NPP Audit Committee at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services since 2017, Guy Thibault also holds a board member position at Commissionaires Ottawa. Previous significant roles include Vice Chief of the Defence Staff of the Canadian Armed Forces and Chairman of the Inter American Defence Board for the Organization of American States, where responsibilities included advancing defence cooperation among member states. Guy Thibault's military career also features a focus on information management, strategy, and cyber defence, supported by a solid academic foundation with degrees in Math and Physics, Public Administration, and National Security Studies.
