David Wood McIps

David Wood MCIPS has an extensive work experience spanning several companies. David is currently working at Conferma Pay as the Chief Operations Officer, a position they have held since March 2023. Previously at Conferma Pay, they served as the Chief Product Officer from June 2021 to February 2023, and as the Director of Products from July 2018 to June 2021. Before that, they held the role of Head of Integrations and Communication from March 2018 to June 2018, and Global Supplier Technology Relationship Manager from March 2016 to February 2018.

Prior to joining Conferma Pay, David worked at Capita Travel and Events, where they served as the Head of Supplier Relations - Accommodation and Venues from January 2014 to February 2016, and as the Sourcing Manager - Collection and Hotel Partnerships from March 2013 to December 2013.

David'searlier work experience includes roles at Expotel, where they held the position of Partner Services - Team Manager from October 2008 to February 2013. David was also a Commercial Executive from March 2008 to September 2008, a Rates Negotiator from September 2004 to February 2008, and a Conference Admin from August 2003 to August 2004.

David's career began at IKEA, where they worked as a Customer Service Contact Centre - Duty Supervisor from June 2002 to December 2004.

David Wood MCIPS completed their education in a chronological order. From 1998 to 2002, they attended Offerton High School, where they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any specific field of study. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a degree in MCIPS at Stockport College, specializing in the Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply. Lastly, from 2013 to 2014, David attended SR Supply Chain Consultants Ltd, where they obtained a Level 6 - Professional Diploma in Purchasing and Supply with a focus on procurement.
