José Rivera Jr.

José Rivera Jr. serves as the Group Fitness Manager and Group Fitness Instructor at Equinox since August 2021. As a Creative Director and Artist, José Rivera Jr. has been producing dance and sound for various performance platforms since May 2010. Additional experience includes roles as a Games Host at Confetti from May 2021 to June 2024, and as an Instructor at The Bar Method from June 2016 to March 2022. Prior to that, José Rivera Jr. worked as a Social Media Manager for the Child Mind Institute, an Administrator and Intern at LEIMAY, and held various positions at New York University’s Office of Residential Life and Housing Services. José Rivera Jr. earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from New York University, following an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors from Washingtonville Senior High School.
