Denys Berzoy has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles.
Denys began their career as an Activist at AIESEC from 2003 to 2006. Following this, from 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Technical assistant at Petrenko&Partners.
Denys then transitioned to the field of IT, starting as a System and Network Administrator at Odessa Regional Information and Analytical Center of Medical Statistics from 2010 to 2011. Here, they were responsible for maintaining user workstations, network infrastructure, and providing user support.
In 2011, they worked as a System Administrator at JSC Odeskabel, where they focused on system administration tasks.
Continuing in the IT field, Denys joined KP VTI / EDAPS Consortium as a C# Developer from 2013 to 2013. Following this, from 2013 to 2015, they worked as a .NET Developer at Levi9 Ukraine. In this role, they implemented new functionality and resolved bugs while working on projects such as Interaxi MediTrack and GlauxSoft Evidence Outlook Add-in.
From 2015 to 2016, Denys continued their tenure at Levi9 Ukraine as a Frontend Developer. Here, they were involved in the refactoring of old code, unit and e2e-testing coverage, and implemented new functionality on the Backbase CXP 6.0 project.
In 2016, Denys joined SoftServe as a Lead Web Developer. Denys worked on the Solarwinds APOLLO project, where they led cross-team synchronization for AngularJS to Angular 5+ migration, improved customer experience, and participated in architecture discussions. Denys also migrated the UI framework to Angular 5+ and developed an internal application for independent testing.
Subsequently, Denys worked as a Senior Frontend Developer at Steer73 from 2018 to 2018, contributing to the PaddyPower project by implementing new features, refactoring, and bug fixing.
In 2018, Denys joined Wirex as a Senior Frontend Developer, contributing to the development and maintenance of the company's frontend systems.
Currently, Denys is employed at Confiant Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead. Here, they lead a team and develops security solutions to protect users against malicious ads.
Throughout their career, Denys has acquired expertise in various technologies such as AngularJS, Angular, ES6, SCSS, Jasmine, npm, Gulp, git, Docker, and Sonarqube.
Denys Berzoy completed their education from 2006 to 2010 at Odessa State Economics University, where they attained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In May 2015, Denys earned additional certifications from Microsoft, including the MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional) and MS (Programming in C#).
