Amy Fernandez

Amy Fernandez has a wealth of work experience. Amy began their career in 1993 as a Special Education Teacher for grades K-3 at Goose Creek CISD. In 1995, they moved to Plano ISD, where they worked as an Educational Diagnostician and as a Special Education Teacher for grades 2-5. In 2000, they became President of RISD Council of PTAs at PTA. From 2011 to 2018, they served as Secretary & Service Projects Coordinator at Boy Scout Troop 690. In 2018, they began their current role as Project Manager at Configure, Inc.

Amy Fernandez attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education and Teaching. Amy then attended the University of North Texas from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Master's degree in Educational Assessment, Testing, and Measurement.
