Zeynep Ilgaz

Zeynep Ilgaz is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the business and technology sectors. In 2022, they joined The Old Globe as a Member Board of Directors, where they work to further the Tony Award-winning theatre's mission. In 2021, they became a General Partner at Cross Ocean Ventures. Zeynep also serves as an Advisor at Berkeley SkyDeck, an accelerator program, and a Board of Advisors at Endometrics, a company that creates a unique solution for the non-invasive diagnosis of endometriosis. In 2015, Ilgaz became a Board of Director for the Campanile Foundation at San Diego State University, an Advisory Board Member for the SDSU Mission Valley Innovation District, and a Lecturer in International Entrepreneurship. Zeynep is also a Chief Advisor and Co-Founder at Confirm BioSciences, a Director at the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, a Member Board of Directors at NAWBO San Diego, an Angel Investor at Golden Seeds, and a Director at the San Diego Regional Technology Alliance.

Zeynep Ilgaz has an education history that includes an MBA from San Diego State University from 1998 to 2001, a BA in Economics from Boğaziçi University, and attendance at Antalya Anadolu Lisesi. Zeynep also holds certifications from the National Association of Corporate Directors, including the NACD Directorship Certification™, obtained in June of 2022, and a Women Owned Business certification.
