Keith Haynes has a wealth of experience in the field of research. Keith began their career in 2009 as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Texas, where they synthesized new compounds and nanomaterials for Excitonic Solar Cells (XSC) and mentored students while teaching principles of modern organic synthesis, electrochemistry, and thin film fabrication. In 2015, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at Saint Louis University, where they synthesized novel compounds which bind to and inhibit the efflux pump AcrAB-TolC. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Research Chemist at Fimbrion Therapeutics, Inc. and is currently a Principal Scientist at Confluence Discovery Technologies.
Keith Haynes obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of North Texas in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained Bachelor Degrees in Chemistry and Biology from Drury University in 2009.
