Zachary Gannam

Zira Gannam has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Zira started their career as a Groundskeeper at St. Louis Country Club from April 2009 to August 2012. Concurrently, they also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from September 2009 to December 2012.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Zira worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Yale University School of Medicine from June 2013 to August 2019. During this time, they focused on a drug development project for a novel target linked to dystrophic muscle disease. Zira'sresearch primarily involved structural studies of enzyme-inhibitor complexes and biochemical characterization of compounds identified through high-throughput screening and rational drug design.

Following their time at Yale, Zira pursued a role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington University in St. Louis from October 2019 to March 2023. During this position, they further expanded their research experience in the field.

Most recently, Zira joined Confluence Discovery Technologies in March 2023 as a Scientist - Consultant, where they continue to contribute their expertise and knowledge in their field.
