Daniel J. Matthews

Daniel J. Matthews, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2007 to 2014, they served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh. Following that, they worked as an Assistant Professor of Physics at Chatham University from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they completed the Data Science Intensive program at Springboard Data Science Workshop. From 2017 to the present, they have been self-employed as a Data Management Consultant and also worked at Confluence, where they held positions as a Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst, Senior Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst, and Data Architect.

Daniel J. Matthews, Ph.D., received their education in the field of physics. Daniel J. earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Astronomy from the University of Iowa from 2002 to 2005. Daniel J. then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Physics at the University of Pittsburgh from 2006 to 2007. Daniel later completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 2007 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Daniel obtained a certification in Data Science Intensive from Springboard in January 2017.
