Karen Fisher

Karen Fisher, GISP, is a seasoned GIS professional with extensive experience in GIS analysis, development, and infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Senior GIS Analyst at Central Arizona Project since May 2022, Karen previously held roles at Arizona State University as a GIS Enterprise Developer and Product Manager, where responsibilities included architecting and administering AWS deployments for GIS Enterprise. Prior experience includes 15 years at the Arizona Department of Water Resources, where Karen led GIS enterprise infrastructure for desktop users, and served as an ArcGIS Server administrator and application developer. Karen holds a BS in Geology from Iowa State University and has participated in various technical training programs related to GIS. Proficient in multiple programming languages and technologies, Karen demonstrates a strong background in data modeling and database management.
