Douglas Henning has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Douglas began their career in 1988 at the Eskom Pension and Provident Fund, where they worked as an Investment Management Accountant and later as a Back Office Treasury Administrator for over a decade. In 1999, Henning joined Microgen as a Business Analyst and Investment Software Functional Product Specialist, staying with the company until 2006.
From 2006 to 2011, Henning served as a Senior Business Analyst at Allan Gray Proprietary Limited. Following this, they worked at STAPRO as a Market Data Manager from 2011 to 2012. Henning then joined INET BFA in 2012, where they held the positions of Content Manager and later, Executive Head: Content Strategy until 2015.
In 2015, Henning briefly worked at Value Data Technology as a Director. Douglas then joined Coronation Fund Managers in 2016 as a Data Specialist before moving to Infovest later that year, where they worked as a Senior Business Analyst until 2019. Currently, Henning holds the position of Senior Business Analyst at Confluence, starting in October 2019.
Douglas Henning obtained a National Diploma in Management Principles and Practise from technikon witwatersrand, where they studied from 1992 to 1994. Douglas further pursued their education at Heriot-Watt University in 1996, where they obtained an MBA certificate in organizational behaviour through a single course in Business Administration and Management.
