Arunvijay Kumar

Arunvijay Kumar is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Confluent since November 2021, Arunvijay specializes in Cloud and Platform Infrastructure. Prior to this role, Arunvijay contributed to Microsoft for nearly 22 years, holding various positions including Principal Software Engineer in Azure Networking, and Senior Software Design Engineer in technical strategy and Bing Search Platforms. Additionally, Arunvijay has a background in cybersecurity and systems management from Microsoft Research and has experience as an SDET in Windows Core File Services. Arunvijay began the career at Daimler Chrysler Research Center as an intern. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc (Hons) in Physics and a B.E (Hons) in Computer Science, both from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani.
