Dusan Popov-Celeketic began their education at the University of Belgrade in 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. Dusan successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2002. Following this, they enrolled at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2004 to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Their doctoral research and studies continued until 2007, at which point they earned their PhD degree.
