Nakoma Ehrhart has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Nakoma started their career as a New Product Development Intern at Dawn Foods Global in 2015, where they gained valuable experience in product development. Nakoma then joined Thorntons LLC in 2018 as a Fresh Food Product Development Technician, where they played a crucial role in creating and improving various food items. In 2019, Nakoma was promoted to the position of Food Scientist at Thorntons LLC, where they took charge of recipe development and ensured compliance with nutritional and ingredient specifications. Nakoma then moved on to join Dawn Foods Global again in 2021 as a Food Scientist II, where they led the development of formulations for wet bakery products and served as the lead scientist for fondant products. Currently, Nakoma is working as an Innovation Specialist at Congo Brands, where they apply their expertise to drive innovation in the food industry.

Nakoma Ehrhart completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from the University of Kentucky, where they attended from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Successful Goal Setting, Reduce Stress and Anxiety by Managing Your Nervous System, Business Design: Turning Ideas Into Business, and Project Management Simplified. These certifications were achieved through LinkedIn, with the most recent being obtained in January 2023.
