Chris Gideon

Chris Gideon has an extensive work history in the field of healthcare compliance. Chris began their career in 2006 at the Texas Department of State Health Services, where they served as a Public Health Technician III before transitioning to the role of EMS Program Specialist. In 2008, they joined Legacy Emergency Medical Services as an Emergency Medical Technician, providing emergency medical care and consultation on state EMS provider licensure. In 2013, Gideon joined Health Integrity, LLC as a Health Fraud Investigator, where they investigated fraud, waste, and abuse in the Medicare Trust Fund. Following this, they worked at Universal American as an SIU Investigator, focusing on investigating allegations of fraud, waste, and abuse in a Medicare Advantage health plan. Most recently, Gideon joined Conifer Health Solutions, starting as a Senior Compliance Analyst and eventually being promoted to Manager and then Director of Compliance Risk & Strategy. In this position, they conducted audits, led compliance investigations, and designed programs to mitigate vendor risk. Gideon has a wealth of experience in the healthcare compliance field and has consistently demonstrated their expertise and commitment to ensuring regulatory compliance.

Chris Gideon attended Lone Star College from 2002 to 2005 and obtained an Emergency Medical Technician Certificate in General Studies. Chris then pursued Political Science and Government at Sam Houston State University from 2005 to 2007.
