Scott Fiscus

Scott Fiscus, Vice President of Physician RCM Operations, has more than 35 years of relevant industry experience as an accomplished business management professional with deep knowledge in healthcare, medical group management and revenue cycle management operations. Scott is currently responsible for claims production, EDI enrollment, payment posting, cash research/reconciliation, credit balances, refunds, managed care over/under payments, Customer Service, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, PRCM Coding Operations, and Denial Management.

Prior to his current role, Scott served as Senior Director, Operations and was responsible for management oversight of third-party follow up, report writing, business analytics, Business Process Outsourcing and managed care contracting teams. Since joining Conifer in 2016, Scott has developed and implemented effective best-practice processes and procedures and delivered performance improvements, including improved days outstanding rates at 90 and 365 days and reduced no-response rates for accounts receivable. Scott has also helped improve clean-claim rates and reduce denial rates.

Before joining Conifer, Scott served in a variety of leadership roles at Integrated Medical Partners, Hospital Sisters Health System, MED3000, Inc. (a McKesson company) and MedSynergies. Scott started his career in healthcare as a sports medicine and physical therapy provider.
