Brian Ivy

Brian Ivy joined Conifer in 2016 and currently serves as Vice President, Finance on our Conifer Leadership Team. In this role, Brian is responsible for the equity and conventional debt financing of Conifer’s affordable housing developments. He also leads Conifer’s financial closing and due diligence teams. Additionally, Brian is a member of Conifer’s Strategic Asset Management team, charged with refinancing the company’s stabilized portfolio and facilitating the purchase of investor interests.

With over a decade of experience in the field of affordable housing finance, Brian has worked with an array of financial institutions to structure and close financing for new construction and existing properties. He is also a frequent speaker on affordable housing finance topics.

Prior to joining Conifer, Brian was an attorney at Phillips Lytle, LLP, where he represented lenders providing construction and permanent financing to affordable housing developments through conventional loans, bond purchases and credit enhancements.

Brian has a B.A. from Yale University, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, and a J.D. from The College of William and Mary Law School.
