Shixia Wang

Shixia Wang, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Conigen Bioscience, Inc., a company focused on developing innovative life science tools through advanced immunology, virology, molecular biology, and cell biology. Prior to this role, Shixia Wang held the position of Senior Director of Immunology at Vaxxinity and served as Scientific Director for the Worcester HIV Vaccine project. Additionally, Shixia Wang was a faculty member at the University of Massachusetts Medical School from 2009 to August 2021, where roles included Professor and Associate Professor. Shixia Wang earned a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine and holds a DVM in Veterinary Medicine from Hebei Agricultural University.
