Nik Samoylov

Nik Samoylov is a Director at Conjointly, an advanced survey research platform, since August 2016, where expertise in survey tools and respondent access is utilized. In addition, Nik is a Volunteer at the Existential Risk Observatory, advocating for regulation and moratoriums on advanced AI development to address potential extinction risks. Previously, Nik served as Coordinator for the Campaign for AI Safety from April 2023 to March 2024 and worked at Bain & Company from July 2013 to June 2016, progressing from Associate Consultant to Consultant. Early career experiences include roles as a Tutor and Research Assistant at the Australian National University and an internship at the National Farmers' Federation. Nik holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Marketing and Accounting from The Australian National University, completed in 2012.
