Karen Sheehy

Karen Sheehy has a long and varied work experience in the IT field. Karen began their career in 2006 as an ICT Engineer at Tiscali, where they were involved in the set up of the building, analyzing and troubleshooting PC connectivity and application issues, answering incoming support calls, and handling trouble tickets related to hardware, software, and web applications. In 2010, they moved to Core Concepts as an Office Assistant, where they provided after-sales I.T. support on PCs and laptops purchased, and was responsible for the day-to-day running of the office while providing a high level of customer service. Karen then moved to JustScan Ltd. in 2011 as a Helpdesk Manager. In 2013, they joined Apple as a Senior Support Advisor Mac+, and in 2016, they began working for Shopify as an IT Logistics, IT Specialist, and Guru. Most recently, they joined Conjura in 2022 as an IT Coordinator.

Karen Sheehy's education history includes a 2:1 Honors in Computing in Software Development from the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology Castlebar from 2000-2004, a Research Assistant from the Technological University Dublin from 2004-2006, and secondary school from St Mary's Secondary School, Ballina from 1994-1999. Karen has also obtained certifications from Jamf, Pearson VUE, and Coursera Course Certificates, including Jamf 200 (2018), Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT 2107) (2017), Apple Service Fundamentals (2017), and G Suite Administrator Fundamentals (2017).
