Christian Sinobas is the co-founder and CEO of KiWi, a company that helps people make smarter decisions with their money. Prior to KiWi, Christian was a lecturer at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), where they launched the UCA Microfinance Course and ran the first year of the program.
Before UCA, Christian worked as the COO of PlaNet Finance, where they developed and managed microfinance and mobile money operations in emerging markets. During their time at PlaNet Finance, Christian oversaw a consulting portfolio of over 40 projects with annual revenues of over 6 million euros. Christian also supervised project managers worldwide, with 19 offices in total.
Prior to PlaNet Finance, Christian worked as an analyst at JPMorgan Chase. There, they were responsible for trade processing around Private Banking and IB products, such as equities, bonds, funds, hedge funds, and derivatives. Christian also participated in the MIS migration of Paris desk to Mumbai and Geneva.
Christian began their career as a broadcast director and journalist at Frequence Banane - Students Radio, where they worked from 1998 to 2002.
Christian Sinobas has a certificate from TransformTECH Program, IMD & EPFL, and EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Christian also has an exchange year in economics, law, politics from Heidelberg University. Lastly, they have a master's in political science from University of Lausanne - UNIL. Christian is also certified from IMD Business School in Winners, IMD Startup Competition 2020.
