Bruce Carruthers

Bruce Carruthers has extensive work experience in the medical device industry, primarily with CONMED Corporation. Bruce started their career in 2007 with CONMED Linvatec Canada as a Senior Product Manager and later served as a National Marketing Manager. In 2011, they transferred to CONMED Australia and held roles as a National Marketing Manager and National Sales & Marketing Manager. From 2013 to 2017, they served as the National Sales & Marketing Director for CONMED Australia. Bruce returned to CONMED Corporation in 2017 as the Director of International Marketing Development and later became the Senior Director of Marketing for CONMED Canada. In 2020, they transitioned to Senior Director of Business Development & International Training, and in 2021, they became the Senior Director of Global Orthopedic Technology & Innovation.

Bruce Carruthers graduated from Dalhousie University with a BSc in Kinesiology in 2002. Bruce then pursued their MBA in Marketing and International Business from Dalhousie University, which they completed in 2007. Prior to their university education, they attended Halifax West High School.
