Kim Pence

Kim Pence, PHR has over 10 years of experience in various HR and talent acquisition roles. Kim is currently working as an HR Leader for Foot & Ankle and the Global Director of Talent Acquisition at CONMED Corporation. In this role, they are responsible for leading the global recruiting strategy and ensuring a strong candidate experience. Prior to this, they held positions such as Director of Global Talent Acquisition and Senior Manager Talent Acquisition at CONMED.

Before joining CONMED, Kim worked at Athlete Network (formerly Career Athletes) where they were a Senior National Account Executive, responsible for enhancing talent acquisition strategies for marquee clients. Kim also served as the Director of Student-Athlete Development and Internships, overseeing all aspects of the internship program.

Kim started their career at the University of Missouri-Kansas City as an Assistant Academic Counselor in the Student-Athlete Support Services Office. In this role, they provided counseling and support to student-athletes in various academic areas.

Kim Pence, PHR has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Environmental Science from The University of Alabama, obtained from 2004 to 2008. Kim also holds a Master's of Arts degree in Educational Administration: Higher Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, earned from 2008 to 2010. In 2016 to 2017, they completed a Human Resource Certificate in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Kim Pence also obtained additional certifications including Advancing a DIBs Strategy in Your Organization from LinkedIn in 2022, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All from LinkedIn in 2020, and Professional in Human Resources from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2017.
