Lucas Simmons

Lucas Simmons, PE, is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and previously as Senior Mechanical Engineer at CONMED Corporation since July 2019, Lucas has held several engineering roles, including Senior Engineer II and Senior Engineer I at Zimmer Biomet from June 2015 to July 2019, and Lead Project Engineer at Biomet from June 2013 to June 2015. Earlier in the career, Lucas gained experience as a Development Engineer and Intern at Lanx, Inc., and as an Intern in Mechanical Hardware at ValleyLab in 2007. Lucas holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Biomedical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, along with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the same institution. Additional educational experience includes attendance at Freie Universität Berlin.
