Benjamin Reidhead

Category Manager, French Horns And Marching Brass at Conn-Selmer, Inc.

Benjamin Reidhead has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Benjamin began their career at the Cleveland Institute of Music as a Media Assistant from June 2012 to July 2017. Benjamin then transitioned to the position of Music Technical Services Assistant at the same institution from January 2018 to August 2018.

In 2009, they joined the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra as a Fourth Horn player and continued in that role until July 2018. During the same period, they also played as a Fourth Horn for the Ashland Symphony Orchestra from October 2012 to July 2018.

In 2012, Benjamin joined two more orchestras: the Canton Symphony Orchestra as a Third/Utility Horn player and the Firelands Symphony Orchestra as a Second Horn player. Benjamin is currently still active in these roles.

Furthermore, Benjamin has been associated with Conn Selmer since 2018. Benjamin initially worked as an Inspect and Final Test - Cup Instruments (French horn playtester) from August 2018 to January 2021. Afterwards, they became the Assistant Product Manager, responsible for developing and implementing product roadmaps for French horns and marching brass under the C. G. Conn, Holton, and King brands, from February 2021 to January 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Category Manager, overseeing the planning, development, and maintenance of a competitive product roadmap for Conn-Selmer's line of French horns and marching brass.

Benjamin Reidhead obtained their Bachelor's degree in Music Performance, specializing in Horn, from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Benjamin completed their education at this institution from 2007 to 2011.
