Rob Coates

Rob Coates has a extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Rob began their career at Daishowa-Marubeni International Ltd. in 1997 as a Steam and Recovery Operator and worked there until 2009. In 2009, they joined Connacher Oil and Gas as a Shift Team Lead/Control Room Operator, a role they held for eight years until 2017. In 2017, Coates was promoted to the position of Chief Power Engineer at Connacher Oil and Gas Ltd, where they are currently employed.

Rob Coates has obtained a First Class Power Engineer Certificate from ABSA, the pressure equipment safety authority. Additionally, they attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and obtained a 1st Class Power Engineer degree.
