Assistant Shift Engineer at Connacher Oil and Gas Ltd

Tyler Wandler has diverse work experience in various industries. In 2012, they completed a work placement and practicum at the Medicine Hat Power Plant. From 2013 to 2013, they worked at Methanex Corporation as a water treatment/utilities operator, where they operated demineralization water treatment equipment and performed regular water tests. In 2016, they worked as a construction laborer/finisher at Precision Cargo and as a 3rd class Power Engineering Contractor at Sure Flow Oilfield Services Inc. Most recently, they worked as an Assistant Shift Engineer at Connacher Oil and Gas Ltd, starting in 2017.

Tyler Wandler started their education journey in 1997 and graduated in 2001 from Medicine Hat High School with a high school diploma. Tyler later attended Medicine Hat College from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Power Engineering Technician Diploma. During their time at the college, they studied power engineering and obtained a 3rd class ticket holder certification, as well as completing the 2A3 paper. Tyler further enhanced their qualifications by obtaining a 3rd class power engineering certificate in October 2014 from ABSA - Alberta Boilers Safety Authority and the Government of Alberta.
