Bill Manley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Their most recent position is with Civil Air Patrol, where they currently serve as Squadron Commander. Prior to this, they held the role of Deputy Commander and Director of Administration & Personnel within the same organization. Before joining Civil Air Patrol, Bill worked at Connect America as a Director of Product Management and Senior Technical Product Manager. Bill also has experience in the field of education, having served as an Adjunct Professor at Delaware County Community College, where they taught computer science courses. Earlier in their career, Bill worked at Aetna, Inc. as a Senior Application Architect, and at Lotus/IBM and Lockheed Martin as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, respectively. Bill also served in the United States Air Force, both in the active duty and reserve capacities, attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Bill Manley has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Villanova University, which they obtained in 1998. Before that, they earned a Bachelor's degree from the same university in 1987. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Valley Forge Military Academy & College from 1974 to 1976, where they obtained an AA degree in Business Administration.
