Yilong Wang

Yilong Wang has extensive experience in IT operations and management. Yilong most recently worked at Connect Biopharma as a Senior Manager, IT, where they played a key role in developing and implementing the company's IT roadmap and global IT strategy. Yilong managed IT operations and user support in the US and provided technical guidance and support to the China team. Yilong also led the migration of IT systems and services from on-premises to cloud-based and work-from-home models using various SaaS platforms.

Prior to that, Yilong served as the Director of IT Operations at Polaris Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for overall IT operations in the US region. Prior to their role at SmartDrive Systems, Yilong worked at Teradata as a Senior Solution Engineer, providing high-level support for Teradata Server Management platform and TD database on Windows OS. Yilong also helped launch the PathFinder rollout and created various knowledge articles.

Yilong's earlier experience includes working as an IT System Manager at iMetrikus, where they managed operational, development, and QA systems, performed system monitoring and support, and completed network management tasks.

Yilong Wang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 1981 to 1985. Later, from 1987 to 1992, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UC Irvine.
