Simon Davies

Simon Davies has over 24 years of work experience in supply chain management and logistics. Simon is currently working as the Head of Supply Chain at Connect Distribution Services Ltd, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Supply Chain Manager for the same company from April 2015 to November 2022. Before joining Connect Distribution Services Ltd, Simon held various roles in different companies. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as the Head of Purchasing & Distribution for The Perfect Pizza Company Ltd. - UK franchise. From 2006 to 2011, they served as the Warehouse & Distribution General Manager at Perfect Pizza. Prior to that, they were the Warehouse Logistics Manager at Papa Johns from 2001 to 2006, and at Perfect Pizza Ltd from 1997 to 2001.

Simon Davies attended Cannock Chase Technical College and studied Electrical Installations Competences from an unknown start year until 1993. Simon then pursued further education at The Open University, where they studied Business Management. Simon also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1994, they received a Certificate of Professional Competence in National Road Haulage Operations from RSA. In 1999, they became a Lift Truck Operator Instructor through RTITB LIMITED. In 2005, they obtained The Professional Certificate in Management from The Open University. Lastly, in 2009, Simon earned the Fundamentals of HACCP certification from the Royal Society for Public Health.
