Brian Braun

Brian Braun has extensive experience in financial and strategic leadership roles. Brian served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Deputy Director at Connect for Health Colorado since 2015. Prior to that, they were the CFO and Compliance Officer at CORHIO from 2010 to 2015, where they played a key role in the start-up of the organization and generated over $50 million in funding. Brian also served as the CFO and Treasurer at UCAR, LLC, overseeing financial, operational, and contracting activities. Additionally, Brian was the CFO and Controller at Policy Studies, Inc., where they led financial operations and helped secure financing and surety bonding exceeding $50 million. Brian started their career at Arthur Andersen & Co./IREICO, gaining experience in external audit work and financial statement preparation. Overall, Brian Braun has a strong background in finance, strategic planning, and business development.

Brian Braun earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Finance from the University of Wyoming, where they studied from 1981 to 1984. Brian later pursued a Master's Degree in Planning at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1990 to 1992. Additionally, Brian obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Colorado in February 1987.
