Maria L. Delvecchio has had a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Maria L. currently holds the position of Regional Sales Director - Central Ontario at Connect Hearing Canada, which they started in October 2021. Prior to this role, they had an extensive tenure at Chartwell Retirement Residences, where they held various positions including Director Regional Sales for GTA, Halton, Peel, and Barrie, Director Regional Sales for the Golden Horseshoe region, Director Regional Sales for Southwestern Ontario, and General Manager for Chartwell Classic Valley Vista - Lease Up. Before joining Chartwell Retirement Residences, they served as the General Manager of Pine Grove Lodge, a Long Term Care/Retirement Residence. Maria L. also held the position of Director of Social Services at Pine Grove Lodge Long Term Care. At the beginning of their career, they worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at Lumacare and as a Sales Associate at Dye & Durham Corporation.
Maria L. Delvecchio obtained a BA Honours degree in Sociology and Gerontology from York University, graduating in 1994. In 1999, they completed a Certification in Gerontology from Humber College. In 2007, Maria completed the OANHSS Administrator Certification Program, offered by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. Maria L. has also obtained additional certifications in PhonaK Training with Connect Hearing on Lumity Products and Spring Training with Sonova, both in 2022, as well as a Gerontology Certificate from Humber College.
