Michael Tamkin

Michael Tamkin has extensive experience in emergency communication and dispatch roles, currently serving as a Dispatcher at Connect Transit since December 2021. Prior to this position, Michael held various dispatcher and emergency dispatcher roles at organizations including Sangamon County Consolidate Dispatch and Marshall County Sheriff's Department. Experience as a Claims Associate at State Farm ® and as a Customer Service Representative with Hinduja Global Solutions PH further demonstrates Michael’s diverse skill set in customer service and communication. Additionally, Michael has practical experience in emergency response and management through previous positions at Bureau County Emergency Communications and Bartonville Police Department. Michael completed education at Illinois Central College from 2002 to 2003.
