Takeshi "Tac" Amano has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 1979, they had a summer internship with Rollins Burdick Hunter in Chicago, IL, USA.

In 1981, they worked as an Account Executive at Nikko Hi-Tech Trading Company Limited in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, where they handled sales and exporting coordination for semiconductor silicon wafers and ingots to US semiconductor manufacturers and Topsil in Europe.

In 1982, Amano founded CDCI, Inc., where they served as CEO and developed creative concepts and marketing strategies for tourism industries, including hotels, resorts, airlines, and local governmental organizations. Takeshi "Tac" also worked as an Account Director for WHITE Incorporated and handled clients such as Asahi Glass, Tokyo Electron, Casio, and Pierre Cardin Japan.

From 1989 to 2009, Amano worked as an Advisor and Instructor at the International Martial Arts Federation (IMAF), specializing in Judo. Takeshi "Tac" provided senior instruction for the Judo section, covering Europe and the US.

In 1999, they became the CEO and Senior Executive Producer at WHITE, Inc., focusing on brand and web development. Takeshi "Tac" also provided strategic consulting services, including business plan and marketing strategy development.

In 2010, Amano established Beijing White Design Co., Ltd. as the Private Owner, where they offered marketing consulting services to the tourism industry, specifically in inbound and outbound promotion. Takeshi "Tac" also coordinated restaurants and shops for publishers and web portals and developed programs for tourism industries between Mainland China, including Hong Kong, and Japan.

Since 2012, Amano has been serving as the Creative Director at CWW connectworldwide, where they provide marketing-oriented creative direction for destination marketing projects in Japan. Their responsibilities include branding management, event planning, creative management, and digital marketing.

Takeshi "Tac" Amano pursued their education, starting from 1974, with a summer session English course at the University of Cambridge. Afterwards, from 1978 to 1980, they attended the University of Portland and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in an interdisciplinary field consisting of Marketing, Communication, and Fine Arts.
