Axel de Torsiac

Axel De Torsiac possesses extensive experience in corporate sponsorships, entrepreneurship, and media management. With a current role at the San Diego International Film Festival since August 2016, Axel has also served as Springboard - Entrepreneur in Residence at CONNECT - San Diego since July 2009, providing consulting and advising on business formation and sales strategies. Previous roles include Managing Director of Global Market Development at Boulevard Brasil Ltda, where Axel established an import/export company in Brazil and Europe, and General Manager at HBO Latin America, where Axel oversaw restructuring efforts for HBO Brazil. Axel has also held the position of Regional Director at 20th Century Fox, managing operations for the Fox pay TV network in Brazil, and Sales Manager at Abril, advancing distribution for key television programming. Education includes credentials from ENSUG in Paris and UCSD.
