Jennifer Florez has a diverse work experience, primarily focused on marketing and communications roles. Jennifer started their career as a Sales Associate at Illini Union Bookstore in 2017. Jennifer then worked as a Tutor and Resident Advisor at Roosevelt University for a brief period. In 2018, they joined Spurlock Museum as a Desk Assistant/Special Events Assistant. Jennifer also interned as a Risk Assurance Intern at PwC in 2019. In 2021, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at JC NEW HOME RESTORATION, INC. Jennifer later joined Smithbucklin as a Marketing and Communications Associate in 2022, before transitioning to their current role as a Marketing Coordinator at Association Management Center in 2023.

Jennifer also completed certifications such as Digital Marketing Foundations and Learning to Write Marketing Copy from LinkedIn in December 2022 and November 2022, respectively. Jennifer has further acquired certifications in Advertising on Facebook, Social Media Marketing Strategy: TikTok and Instagram Reels, Nano Tips for Using Microsoft Office with Mike Tholfsen, and Tony Schwartz on Managing Your Energy for Sustainable High Performance from LinkedIn in 2022 and 2023. Jennifer also completed a Human-Centered Design certification from PwC in March 2021.
