Julie Nemmer, CPA

Julie Nemmer, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Julie began their career at Arthur Anderson & Co, where they worked as an Audit Manager from 1988 to 1998. From there, they joined Harper College as an Adjunct Accounting Instructor, teaching introduction to financial and managerial accounting courses to both traditional and fast-track students.

In 2009, Julie joined Association Management Center as a Finance Manager, responsible for financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis for multiple associations. Julie managed all aspects of the financial statement preparation process, facilitated communication with staff and volunteer leaders, and participated in key financial initiatives.

Most recently, Julie holds the position of Director, Client Accounting & Financial Management at Association Management Center. In this role, they oversee the accounting and financial management services provided to clients, acting as a strategic partner with internal client teams. Julie ensures the quality of services and the accuracy of client financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls and compliance monitoring, and supports data-driven decision-making.
