Laura Witt, MS-HSM, currently serves as Workforce Initiatives Manager for the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Association Management Center, focusing on enhancing the hospice and palliative care workforce while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previously, at Rush University Medical Center, Laura advanced from Administrative Manager and Fellowship Coordinator to Senior Residency Coordinator, where responsibilities included overseeing fellowship programs and advocating for healthcare quality improvements. Earlier roles included Research Assistant at Northwestern University Visual Cognition Lab and Administrative Assistant at Kreer Associates, along with management experience in both Chicago Pool Management and Carlson Investigations. Laura holds a Master of Science in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Rush University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from National Louis University, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Early Childhood Education from Oakton College.
