Alex Hobbs has held a variety of roles in sales, marketing, and business development since 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked for Sales & Marketing Strategies & Technologies as a Fractional VP Sales, CRO as a Service & Advisor. During this time, they helped B2B tech businesses design, build, optimize, and scale their commercial operations. From 2013 to 2016, they worked for Backbone UK as the Chief Revenue Officer CRO/Head of Direct Sales & Partner Marketing, where they managed cloud IT services. From 2016 to 2019, they worked for PepperHQ as the VP Sales, Chief Sales Officer/CSO, where they increased AOV monthly subscription revenue per client location by more than 50%. From 2019 to 2022, they worked for Sales & Marketing Strategies & Technologies as an Entrepreneur/Executive in Residence EIR, connecting and enabling scalable startups. Alex also worked for Tiendeo as an International B2B Sales Director and International Sales Director, and for CRO Connected as an Executive Member. In 2022, they began working for ConnectAndSell, Inc. as the VP Sales EMEA/UK & Ireland - Sales Development Strategy, Process, Enablement, Management.

Alex Hobbs began their educational career at Stowe School in 1992, where they obtained their GCSE in 1995. Alex then returned to Stowe School for two more years and obtained their A-Levels in 1997. In 1998, they began their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Ancient History at the University of Bristol, which they completed in 2001. Currently, Alex is researching B2B Sales Effectiveness.
