Alex Smith

Alex Smith is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in managing internal and external communications strategies. Currently serving as the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager at Connected Places Catapult since May 2022, Alex has held significant roles at various organizations including the University of Oxford as a Media and Communications Officer and at the UK Green Building Council, where positions included Senior Marketing and Communications Manager. Previous experience also includes a role at Sweett Group as Communications Co-ordinator, where Alex was responsible for diverse internal communications initiatives. Alex holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Television Production from the University of Westminster, completed in 2014.
