Niels Molenaar

Niels Molenaar has ten years of work experience in various roles and industries. Niels started their career in 2005 as a Treasurer and Organizer for the Intro Week at Study Association Industrial Design Lucid. In 2008, they joined Eindhoven University of Technology as a Servicedesk ICT Employee. At Philips, they worked as a Graduate Student from 2010 to 2011. Niels also had a brief role at studio diip in 2010 as an Adaptivity Algorithm in Design Consultancy. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Advanced Troubleshooting Agent at Sitel. Niels then joined Lely Industries NV in 2013 as a Product Engineer, where they focused on improving dairy equipment and integrating projects and software. In 2014, they worked as a Product Engineer at Esveco Specialties for a few months. Niels then transitioned to Cloudfarm5 as a UX Designer, where they worked from 2014 to 2015. Since 2016, Niels has been with Connecterra BV. Niels started as an Account Technology Specialist, then moved on to become a Customer Success Manager, and currently holds the position of Director of Customer Success.

Niels Molenaar has a strong educational background in industrial design. Niels completed their Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Industrial Design from Eindhoven University of Technology from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Industrial Design from the same university from 2003 to 2008.

In addition to their studies at Eindhoven University, Niels also had the opportunity to attend Carnegie Mellon University from 2006 to 2007 as part of a Graphic and Industrial Design Exchange program. Here, they pursued their studies as a BSc Sophomore.

Before moving on to their higher education, Niels attended Merewade College, where they obtained their VWO (pre-university education) degree in Natuur & Techniek. Niels completed their VWO education from 2001 to 2003 after attending the same Merewade College from 1996 to 2001.
