Joseph J. Cherico

Joe Cherico is a litigator and the office managing partner for the Stamford office of McCarter & English. Joe typically represents financial institutions and other corporate clients in commercial litigation matters in the state and federal courts of Connecticut and New York. Joe has been appointed to serve in a variety of roles throughout the Connecticut Superior Court, including as a Magistrate, Special Master, Fact-Finder and Arbitrator, and he is member of the American Arbitration Association’s National Roster of Arbitrators. Joe is the Immediate Past President of the Fairfield County Bar Association and continues to serve on its Executive Board. He graduated from Fordham University in 1992 and Fordham Law School in 1995. Joe is a long-time supporter of the CVLC and has devoted a significant amount of time to representing veterans on a pro bono basis.
