Nicholas Meder has a diverse work experience that spans over two companies. Nicholas started their career in the United States Marine Corps in 2000, serving as a Sergeant until 2004. In 2006, they joined Connecticut Water and held various positions within the company. Their roles at Connecticut Water include Construction Field Services from 2006 to 2011, Engineering Associate from 2012 to 2016, Construction Project Lead from 2016 to 2017, Construction Project Supervisor from 2017 to 2018, and Manager of Supply Operations from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Supply Operations at Connecticut Water.
Nicholas Meder has a strong educational background in construction and project management. Nicholas obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Project Management from Colorado Technical University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Construction Management at Central Connecticut State University from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Nicholas Meder has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. These include the Nace CIP Level II certification from NACE International, The Corrosion Society, obtained in June 2014, the ACI Field Inspector certification from the American Concrete Institute, obtained in April 2014, and the Distribution Class II Operator certification from the Connecticut Department of Public Health, obtained in July 2012.
