Priyanka Sonone

Priyanka Sonone is a Process Control Engineer at Connecticut Water since November 2018, with prior experience as a Microbial Fuel Cell Undergraduate Researcher and Connecticut Climate Analysis Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Connecticut. In these roles, Priyanka prepared microbial solutions for efficiency measurement, designed prototypes, and utilized NOAA data tools, Excel, and Python to analyze environmental trends over the past 60 years. Additionally, Priyanka interned at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, where responsibilities included examining Industrial Pretreatment Permit applications and evaluating compliance with DEEP regulations. Priyanka holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
